Unfortunately, since the pandemic arrived, I felt obliged to help, but how could I help? I am neither a health worker nor a great businesswoman who could donate material or logistics… I only had certain notions of art and ceramics from my studies, so I realized that this would help; What’s more, I knew it after a tough experience in my life in which ceramics helped me separate my feet from the ground a bit and elevate me towards that world of ideas that we sometimes forget. It worked for me, but I knew it would work for everyone else as well.

I have always maintained, and continue to maintain, that what really makes us human and what we have engraved in our DNA is this type of work that is, without a doubt, food for the Soul.

Art, ancestral crafts, the connection with the most primary materials remind us that we are more than ones and zeros.

After teaching non-stop since October 2020, I can affirm, without fear of being wrong, that ceramics, creativity, art… are part of our most primary instincts and that we must feed them.

All human beings have these abilities, since we have simply spent millennia carving it into our DNA.

Siempre he mantenido, y sigo manteniendo, que lo que realmente nos hace humanos y lo que tenemos grabado en nuestro ADN son este tipo de trabajos que son, sin duda, alimento para el Alma.

El arte, la artesanía ancestral, la conexión con los materiales más primarios nos recuerdan que somos algo más que unos y ceros.

Después de dar clases sin parar desde Octubre del 2020, puedo afirmar, sin temor a equivocarme, que la cerámica, la creatividad, el arte… forman parte de nuestros instintos más primarios y que debemos alimentarlos.

Todos los seres humanos tenemos estas aptitudes, ya que, simplemente, llevamos milenios esculpiéndolo en nuestro ADN.
